THE PEOPLE I WOULD DRIVE MILES FOR

Student Work— Sophomore Fall

The People I Would Drive Miles For is a portrait book featuring five friends who made my sophomore year especially meaningful. The project is centered around a road-trip theme, inspired by the idea of traveling to each friend’s hometown, which informed both the concept and the title. To reinforce this theme, I incorporated maps of their hometowns and photographed each of them using a Polaroid camera for a nostalgic, personal feel. The book also includes interview excerpts, with questions such as favorite road-trip songs, must-have travel items, and what they love most about their hometowns.
